Gentoo Linux

I have been a constant user of Gentoo Linux since shorly after it started. Many people would think that using a Linux 'Distro' which has to be compiled is a somewhat masoghistic form of computing, but you do end up with a system built to match your hardware, and only having what YOU wnat on it.

Here are a few things I have found out along the way.

It is FAST. May machine boots to the desktop in around 20 seconds. Libreoffice Writer appears instantly, etc. etc.
